      How to exclude traffic from internal IP Addresses

      Excluding IP addresses to filter out your own site visits in the website traffic metrics

      Excluding own IP addresses is good to have as a best practice. Hubspot enables you to do this with a simple set of steps. 

      • Find out the IP address of your office.  
        • You can try either of these tools for this.
          a. http://whatismyip.com
          b. http://ip4.me

      Note:  If you have multiple office locations, make sure to get a list of IP addresses of each location. 

      • In your HubSpot account, click the Settings icon in the main navigation bar. 
      • On the left sidebar, navigate to Account Setup -> Tracking & Analytics -> Tracking Code -> Advanced Tracking.
      • Add the IP address to the section below. If you have multiple IP addresses, make sure to separate each of them with a comma. 

      Exclude IP Address

      • Once done, click the 'Save' button at the bottom left corner of the window.
